General Information

Please check with your local customs office to see if you can import the items, and if any additional licenses or permits are needed.

Customs Information

Shipments arriving in India will be imposed with a 42.08% D&T (Duties and Taxes) due to the government's regulation. The 42.08% D&T will be collected at the time of checkout for customs clearance purpose. Please click to visit the government's official website for more information on the D&T charges.

Please Note: consignee’s name and shipping address MUST match your KYC documents.

India Customs requires Know Your Customer (KYC) documents (Government recognized identity and address proofs) for customs clearance purposes. Import clearance cannot start unless Consignees' KYC documents are uploaded by the consignee. Once the carrier receives the shipment from iHerb, you have 7 days, excluding Sundays, to submit the KYC document.

Accepted forms of KYC documentation are:

For India citizens: Consignee's passport, Aadhar Card, PAN (Permanent Account Number) card, or Voter ID.

For foreign nationals residing in India: Consignee’s passport and Visa/PIO card.

Shipping

All iHerb orders are shipped out from our US warehouses to your country by Air Freight. 

The Estimated Delivery window provided by iHerb reflects the most standard delivery. However, some orders may occasionally be subject to longer transit time caused by air freight delay, Customs hold, or any other unforeseen complications outside of iHerb’s control.

DDP (Delivered Duties Paid) service is now available for shipments to your country. All duties, taxes, and import fees are pre-collected at the time of checkout to expedite Customs Clearance; no further payments are required at the time of delivery.

  • Aramex: For shipping status, KYC, and Form 7 related inquiries regarding Aramex orders, please contact the Aramex Customer Service at +91 22 64803300 or email: [email protected] and [email protected]. Once an order is shipped, Aramex will send a SMS message with a link to upload KYC documents and Form 7. Please submit the correct documentation within 7 days of receiving the SMS message.

  • If your KYC is rejected, Aramex will send you a SMS message with a rejection notice and follow-up instructions. If no response is received or any invalid information is not corrected as soon as possible, the order will be canceled and will be returned back to iHerb.
