Bought this with the intention as a Sprouting Aid for Broccoli Sprout. It works as it is. It is a natural food grade acid that I used it as a natural preservative for handmade edible stuffs. Also used it for canning, drying or freezing of foods. I also used it as a DIY cleaning solution for example to clean the insides of the stainless steel boiler or kettle and other cleaning purposes. At times I used it as a hair rinse. It is so versatile to have this at home. Highly-recommended.
I bought this to clean limescale out of my instant water kettle, rather than as a supplement, so this may not apply to people usign it as a source of vitamin C ( although I am sure it works well for that, as well) The bottle is robust and seals well, and the powder isn't clumpy. Most importantly, after using it the flow in my machine was better. The way I use it, it will last a long time, but I would recommend it
i use this to make sour candies:) mix it with some monkfruit/erythriose, or allulose to create sour coating. it can "melt" the candy. so i i just put my blend of citric acid+sugar substitute on the candy right before eating. very nice:) and can custimze the sour level. also use it some very few recipies.
The labelling on the bottle lacks instructions on how to use this product. Got this to clean hard water stains on my shower windows but it doesn't seem to work too well. Great for homemade ricotta cheese. Will continue to explore other uses for this product. Please like if you find this helpful, thx!
